Past Animes Review: Kaichou wa Maid-sama! / 会長はメイド様!

Finally the day comes that i review this anime.

All cosplay lovers & those with maid-fetishes, the time has come! For the maid that all girls love, "Kaichou wa Maid-sama!" (会長はメイド様!)

This anime, which all my friends tell me about, is definitely very popular, similar to the levels of "K-On!".

So why is it so popular? Because everybody loves a maid anime! It is rare that there is an anime, purely focused on maids, instead of the occasional school fair types.
So what's it ABOUT is probably the question probing in your heads. Well, it starts off, as usual, in a high-school setting. "Ayuzawa Misaki" is Seika High School's student council president, where the majority of the students are boys. She is known in the school as every boy's ultimate nightmare, but every girl's saviour. That's right, Misaki has the strongest will in the school, and nothing can stop her!

...except for a part time job.

Yes, who is this charming guy in the picture? It's Takumi Usui! The perverted, outer-space alien, who discovers Misaki's other life! A cosplaying maid! Oh noes! Now she has to listen to everything he orders her to, in order not to damage her reputation!
Plot wise, there isn't much to go on, but this anime is highly commendable, for being able to portray a hugggge amount of comedy, and able to cater to almost every target audience available.

Theme wise, its okay i guess. The maid part is clear and well illustrated. School life is very well shown, with countless events and activities that any school should have, just not blown out of proportion as this one. The theme of friendship trust are all very apparent in here. AND YES
ROMANCE of course.

Be it tsundere, cosplaying boys, sissy boys, gay scenes, beach vacation, the edo era, school life, butler competitions, school festivals, they got it ALL COVERED. Expect laughs all around when you watch this anime, from the outrageous emotions and reactions in the anime.

And Takumi Usui is as usual, so monotonus but funny and irritating towards Misaki, lives up to his nickname.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama has a whopping 25 episodes to reach the final conclusion, which is: (Spoiler Alert) (Spoiler Alert) (Spoiler Alert). Ok?

It premiered in Spring 2010, from April 1 to September 21.

Oh yes! And now I have a new feature for all animes. It is my personal ranking system, which i go by 5 attributes. It may be bias, but meh! who cares?

I probably will post another review tomorrow, seeing as its the holidays now.

Hint: Which anime has the KORG in it?
